ACNJ works to improve the lives of children through research, advocacy, coalition building, caregiver support, and youth empowerment. They inform policy with data-driven reports like NJ KIDS COUNT, advocate for child-focused legislation, unite professionals and residents to enhance child services, provide resources through the KidLaw Center, and amplify children’s voices in policymaking.

We are a group of moms with special needs children and adults, trained as peer support and crisis counselors. We provide emotional support, advocacy skills, and access to expert resources to help improve the lives of moms. Through listening and understanding, we offer services like peer counseling, clinical assessments, goal setting, support groups, provider networks, wellness events, and COVID-specific support.
